Solid-State Fermentation Production of Chitosanase by Streptomyces with Waste Mycelia of Aspergillus niger
نویسندگان
چکیده
Solid-state fermentation was carried out using mycelium powder of Aspergillus niger as substrate for the production chitosanase Streptomyces. Results experiments indicated that optimal medium consisted wheat bran and with initial moisture content 60% - 70%. The enzyme activity reached 41.33 U per gram dry after cultured 5 days at 28°C 30°C an pH 6.5. Chitosanase detected on second day incubation had maximal decreased gradually within a 1 month period. is maybe economic alternative in production.

Solid State Fermentation for Production of Chitosan by Aspergillus Niger
The effect of Solid State Fermentation (SSF) on Chitosan production by A. niger was investigated. A. niger BBRC 20004 from Biochemical and Bioenvironmental Research Centre of Sharif University of Technology (Tehran, Iran), was grown on corn residue. Chitosan was extracted from the fungal mycelia using hot alkaline and acid treatment. A. niger was incubated for 12 days on corn residue with moist...
متن کاملXylanase Production under Solid State Fermentation by Aspergillus niger
Central composite orthogonal design was applied to quantify relations of xylanase production, loss of dry matter and change of pH with four critical variables during solid state fermentation of a mixture of wheat bran and wheat straw on which Aspergillus niger CCUG 33991 was cultivated. The studied variables included the percentage of wheat straw, temperature, moisture content, and fermentati...
متن کاملCellulase Production Under Solid-State Fermentation by Ethanolic Zygomycetes Fungi: Application of Response Surface Methodology
Background and Objectives: Cellulase is an important enzyme with multiple applications in industries, including food, laundry, pharmaceutical, textile, pulp, paper and biofuel industries. Solid-state fermentation (SSF) is a method for cellulase production, which includes several advantages, compared to submerged fermentation. In this study, cellulase was produced by three filamentous fungi, i.e...
متن کاملProduction of Bacterial - Xylanolytic Enzyme using Agricultural Waste by Solid State Fermentation
Xylanases (E.C.3.2.1.8) are key enzymes, which play an important role in the breakdown of xylan. Wheat bran and corn cob are a rich source of xylan (28%) and xylose (23%). Therefore these are attractive substrates for production of xylanase & ßxylosidase enzyme. Xylan, a major component of hemicelluloses, is a heterogeneous polysaccharides consisting of ß-1, 4 linked to D-xylosyl residues on th...
